Please be aware: PETSMART accepts CASH only for cats adopted through their stores & adoption fees vary between cities. Whisker Rescue strongly advises that any cats or kittens you currently own be completely vaccinated up to date before bringing any rescued strays into your home.

	DIXIE Female ~7 months old Delightful Dixie is a young lady looking for someone to woo her with treats. This sweet tortoiseshell girl will willingly come to anyone with treats!
	BULLSEYE Male ~2 years old An active fellow who enjoys stretching his legs, Bullseye would enjoy an outdoor run in his future home. He can be selective about his feline friends & may do best as an only feline. His favourite colour is olive green, as it highlights his green eyes & cinnamon tipped nose!
	MONTY Male ~3 years old A full of fun, friendly fellow, Monty looks like either a Maine Coon or Norwegian Forest cat. His luxurious locks are in cream & orange with an adorable orange tipped muzzle. Monty loves other cats & hopes to have a feline friend in his new home. Before coming to Whisker Rescue, Monty found himself at Animal Control.
	SPOT Male ~5 months old A little Spot of sweet, dark chocolate coloured, feline fun is available for your love. This quiet boy would do best in a home with other feline friends. He also enjoys polka dot decorations & warm sun beams.
	TABITHA, UNCLE ARTHUR, DR BOMBAY, ADAM Female & Males ~6 months old Are you prepared to be bewitched? These curious & playful kittens, from the streets of Alix, will do just that. Keeping company with Tabitha, an uncommon beauty with a stubby-tailed calico coat, are her 3 tabby brothers (also with shortened tails). Uncle Arthur is a brown tabby. Dr. Bombay is a silver striped cutie. Adam is a brown tabby with the longest, but yet still short, tail. They have learned to trust humans but would prefer a quieter inside home (the streets are scary!), without canines. 	BRADBY Male ~1.5 years old Formerly living on the edge, Bradby is now seeking a love nest. Appropriately dressed for any occasion with his tuxedo, Bradby wears a heart on his face and has an irresistible dark freckle on his pink nose. Bradby was surrendered as a stray at a local vet clinic. A huge fan of James Bond, Bradby's Mission Possible is to find a safe home filled with lots of playing action.
	MRS BEASLEY Female ~2 years old A plush tortoiseshell with a bubble gum pink nose, Mrs Beasley was found searching for her forever home on the streets. A friendly and lovely girl, Mrs Beasley collects toy dolls in her spare time and would be happy to share her toy collection with you!
	PETRA Female ~3 months old Pretty purrfect Petra, is a short-haired tabby whose white muzzle contrasts with her dark nose. Will you help Petra with her New Years Resolution of finding a forever home?
	SIR PURRCY ALEXANDER III Male ~1 year old A brother of Sir Purrcywell and Sir Lionel, Sir Purrcy Alexander III is also learning how delightful hanging out with humans can be. 	CHARITY Female ~2 years old That dark grey ringed tabby tail is startling against Charity's pristine white coat, as is her unique facial beauty mark. In addition to hoping you will shower her with kindness, Charity needs a little bit of patience as she has spent most of her life in a cage. There is a lot more going on with life than she imagined! Whisker suspects Charity is a La Perm and domestic short haired cross as Charity came from a La Perm breeder.

	CHESTERFIELD Male ~3.5 years old An outgoing guy who loves hanging out, Chesterfield enjoys the company of all cats and humans. Given his cuddly, sweet personality and La Perm good looks, Chesterfield won't be looking for a forever home for long!
	LANEY Male ~5 years old Garbed in a long, black-smoke coat, Laney likely has Himalayan in his family tree. This big, (neutered) stud muffin, is a hunk of burning love! Despite his name, Laney cannot go wander the lanes outside as he has been declawed. In his future home Laney needs to be offered a specific urinary diet, and Whisker Rescue includes the first bag of food with his adoption fee.
	MUFFIN Female ~2 years old What is warm, soft & fluffy? Muffin! A great mother, Muffin found herself & her kittens a home but the human residents weren't able to keep them. Growing up learning to defend her resources, Muffin will share with some cats, but would do best as an only feline. Now Whisker is helping Muffin & her kittens find homes, & she can finally relax.
	LILAC & BOBBIN(Muffin's kittens) Females ~3 months old Muffins adorable kittens are now old enough to go to their own homes. Little girl, Lilac (grey nose), looks like a Siamese cross with her beautiful bright blue eyes & light cream coloured coat, while Bobbin is all black (sorry can't really see her in pic!). Bobbin is a fun loving girl who would love to help you with your sewing projects. Lilac enjoys gardening projects & hopes she can help you trim your cat grass.
	SIAM Male ~3 years old A distinct lion muzzle & curly coat enable Siam to jump out of the clowder (a group of cats)! Previous to living with Whisker Rescue, Siam grew up in a La Perm breeding facility. Understandably, Siam is well socialized with female cats & kittens but not with other males. Now that he is neutered, he may learn to be social with other males. If your immune system is holding you back from adding a cat to your home, the La Perm breed is known for causing less reaction for some allergy suffers!
	GINGER Male ~3 years old Looking for someone a little spicy? Ginger could be your boy! He came to Whisker Rescue as a timid stray. Now Ginger enjoys the company of others & is looking to provide you with a little bit of warmth during these cool winter nights.
	MISS SISSY Female ~5 years old This beautiful, medium-long-hair, pure white cat has mesmerizing eyes; one blue, one golden! Deafness is common with most white cats with blue eyes, fortunately Miss Sissy also has the 1 golden eye so she is only partially deaf! This sweetheart is not suited for farm life & does not like being sneaked up on. Sissy loves friendly big & little people & also docile dogs. She loves looking her best, so being groomed & having her nails trimmed is a breeze. She also enjoys vocalizing with her distinctive scratchy meow (likely due to her poor hearing) which makes it difficult for other animals to understand her. In her future forever home Sissy needs to be the center of your feline world & requests no feline company please. Other cats are simply too scary with their stalking habits. She will also need an understanding home that helps her become an inside-only cat; there are simply too many dangers outside! In addition to his charming personality, Zorro is an active listener who occasionally comments in response. No need to worry about him carelessly leaving his mark as Zorro enjoys his scratching block. Come meet this dark, dashing dude today!
	SHY Male ~3 years old Underneath his distinct orange tiger stripes lurks a loveable, gentle boy, who currently goes by Shy. As he came to Whisker Rescue from Animal Control we do not have a history for Shy, but we suspect he will soon need a different name!
	RAYNE Male ~3.5 years old You might think Rayne is a dark guy, however, he is a fellow who always looks for the silver lining. He will remind you of a silver lining because it matches his white tipped ears and his optimistic cattitude. Having not had much human contact in his short life, Rayne is showing his brightness by permitting people to pet him. Due to his broad nose and medium to long fur Rayne looks may include some Maine Coon characteristics. His ideal future home will have a feline buddy as Rayne bonds with almost all cats.
	GLORIA Female ~2.5 years old The Glorious Masked Calico!! Gloria loves it when the sun shines! Coming to Whisker Rescue with her kittens, Gloria was lucky to be placed in a foster home. She is a quiet gal who is naturally an introvert, until you unleash her extrovert side with treats!
	BOOTS Male ~8 months old This puss in Boots has much to show people, particularly about the power of kindness. He came into this world having lived without knowing human kindness. He is learning through watching other cats that humans can be a source of good things. Now Boots lets people touch him & it is our hope that he will have a forever home. Otherwise Boots will be placed in Whisker Rescue's Barn Buddies Program. Email us for an update!
	DEEJAY Male ~3 years old Let DeeJay put a good time spin on your summer! This big grey love-bug came to Whisker from Animal Control. When he is not trying to hunt down vinyl records, DeeJay can be found with a goofy grin on his face. He hopes to share his contagious grin with you!
	GHOST Female ~1.5 years old Gowned in grey and ivory Ghost is not translucent. Granted, her whiskers are wispy but her green eyes are full of life. Ghost's favourite holiday is Halloween and is hoping you will provide many tricks and treats. In exchange, Ghost will haunt your heart with her sweet and slightly hesitant manner.
	TEXTBOOK Female ~2-3 years old With a Turkish Van coat, gorgeous eyes (one is blue & one is green!) and a bubble gum pink nose, Textbook is a stunner! We suspect he knows it as he behaves like a feline king & bosses other cats around. Given this habit we suggest he would do best as your only feline.
	FONDA Female ~2 years old As a young mama, Fonda is pleased to be done raising kittens & considering pursuing an acting career. When not acting out her favourite film, Fonda can be found kneading fuzzy pink blankets, chasing the big (laser) lights and glowing with delight over treats.
	MURDOCH Male ~3 years old Careful! Murdoch will fly into your heart! This grey and white fellow came from Animal Control but we suspect a former membership in the A-Team. Murdoch is a big lug who gets along with other felines and when he isn't flying helicopters can be found hanging out in cat towers.
	SEBASTIAN Male ~8 months old Sebastian, the sweet heart, is an outgoing fellow constantly seeking friends! One of his unique features is his crooked tail, which allows you to identify him in the dark. Among Sebastian's hobbies are finding the purrfect round container to nap in, spying on his Facebook friends and planning his world tour.
	CHARCO Male ~3 years old Charming Charco has a soft steel gray coat that sets off his green eyes wonderfully! With his broad nose & medium-long locks, he could be a Maine Coon look-a-like! He was found as a scared stray by a family who took him in & tamed his wild ways. Besides his good looks, Charco is known for his trusting, playful cattitude & his fondness for cat towers. As Charco continues to be his own boss, he may not do well with small children. Also, Charco has stolen the hearts of Whisker Rescue Volunteers, thus we would love if he could stay in the Red Deer area!
	BABY Female ~4 years old Are you looking for a fur Baby diva? You found her! Every diva knows how important staging is, & true to form, Baby gives stunning solo performances whilst climbing cat trees! She also knows how to be a lady and prefers to be the only feline in the house.
	KIMI Female ~4 years old Kimi was originally rescued several years ago as a feral kitten from Carolina. She was the only surviving member of her litter. It took years for Kimi to trust people so it was hard for her when her family gave her up when they moved. She has a loyal personality and has adjusted well to her new surroundings after she was given some time and patience. She needs a home that understands who she is and where she came from. She is wonderful cat with lots of love to give to the special person that wins her trust.
	POE Female ~5 years old A quiet, sweet gal, with eyes that change colour depending on the light. How cool is that?! Sometimes her eyes are pale yellow with green, other times they are a golden yellow. This adaptable gal is hanging out at a foster home, for further info or a cuddle please email: bonnic@telus.net
	JASPER Male ~2 years old He's a rescued stray that needs love and patience. He is quiet & a bit shy but his tender heart (and gorgeous whiskers) will win you over!

	CREAMSICLE Male ~1 year old This silky smooth orange tabby is a little shy & due to this timid disposition (at first), he needs a home that can give him time to adjust to being part of a family again. He loves other cats & does warm up to people given enough time. Creamsicle looks like he has Norwegian Forrest Cat in his family history, though we cannot be certain, he certainly has lovely long locks!
	STRAWBERRY Female ~1 year old Strawberry was brought to Whisker as a feral kitten that was injured by a dog or wildlife. As a result, her left hind leg was amputated when she was only 12 weeks old. She's a little survivor though & now moves around the house as fast as the others! She has bonded closely with the male cats in her foster home, but as of yet has not totally overcome her shyness around people. Since she was rescued as a feral she still has trust issues & will need more rehabilitation in her new home Strawberry is a sweet little house cat who enjoys fluffy bedding, cat trees & fellow felines! 	JACK Males ~3 years old Clearly Jack has his pink heart on his sleeve hoping you will take him home! An outgoing extroverted, self cleaner, who enjoys cuddling, Jack is an easy fellow to have around. His medium long fur and broad nose point to Maine Coon in his family tree but as he came from Animal Services his known history is short. Besides lov'n, Jack only requests to be on a urinary diet to prevent bladder problems. Whisker Rescue will supply the first bag of Jacks needed food with his adoption.

	DIMITRI Male ~15 years old Dashing & diminutive, Dimitri is waiting for a loving retirement home. At this stage in his life Dimitri needs a home with easy litter box access & prefers a place with no other cats & lots of warm fleece beds. Dimitri is part of Whisker Rescue's Seniors for Seniors Program.
	SAM Male ~9 years old Sam is a quiet guy who clearly has long haired ancestors who passed on their handsome locks. An easy going 'fella' who enjoys the company of others, he is looking for a home with a regular routine to help manage his diabetes. Sam's needles & insulin will be provided by Whisker Rescue as part of the Seniors for Seniors Program.
	MISSY Female ~9 years old With an affectionate, full of life purrsonality, Missy likes to be the only feline in your world. Her warm, soft, grey, short-haired coat only needs your gentle rubs to keep tidy. Missy's needles & insulin to manage her diabetes are provided by Whisker Rescue & she is part of the Seniors for Seniors Program.
	LIL PUFF Male ~6-8 years old Looking like a white puffy cloud on a sunny day, Lil Puff is an excellent day dreaming companion. His other hobbies include playing games with his iPaw, listening to jazz & open mic poetry. This handsome guy can be adopted for a reduced adoption fee or he also qualifies for Whisker Rescue's Seniors for Seniors Program.
	MINX Female ~14 years old She may have been more feisty in her younger years but now Minx has mellowed. Her white coat is still as soft as a mink and her hearing is fine because she has two different colored eyes! Minx's best friend is Aussie. Both cats qualify for Whisker Rescue's Seniors for Seniors Program or can be adopted for a reduced adoption fee.
