Please be aware that PETSMART accepts CASH only for cats adopted through their stores and adoption fees may vary between cities. Whisker Rescue strongly advises that any cats or kittens you currently own be completely vaccinated up to date before bringing any rescued strays into your home.

	SNOWWHITE Female ~12 weeks old Snow White is dreaming of her fairy tale home... This little girl has two gray smudges on her head, but otherwise is sparkling white. 	MOLLY Female ~2 years old Good golly Molly, sure likes balls. True to the song lyrics, Molly does enjoy a bit of play time with balls. Besides her love of playing, she is hoping her sweet nature and intriguing facial pattern will help find her a forever home, with or without cat companions. 	MISS MOLLY Female ~12 weeks old This little heart breaker, Miss Molly, has been bottle fed and very well socialized. Miss Molly has spent time with an 11 year old human boy, a shepherd dog, and a number of other cats. With her Snowshoe Siamese stunning looks she is sure to find a home soon!
	MISCHIEF Female ~8 months old Looking for a little bit of mischief to make life interesting? This young Mischief can help you! Mischief enjoys playing, being a cute cat model and lots of human attention. She doesn't mind other cats, as long as they are not competing with her for your attention. She even has startling beautiful dark gray tabby strips threaded throughout her light gray coat.
	MANDARIN Female ~12 weeks old Sweet Mandarin was surrendered to Animal Control when she was too young to be alone. This little girl doesn't hold grudges though! Instead she pours her energy into playing with her feline and human friends and only stopping to recharge with naps. To pet Mandarin's soft fur, swing on by the All In One Pet Care Facility.
	GROMIT Male ~12 weeks old Gromit's brother Wallace has been adopted, leaving little Gromit looking for a home without his sidekick. Despite being the tiniest of the litter that was found in a dumpster, Gromit is a survivor. Gromit has been well socialized as he was fostered with an 11 year old human boy, a Shepherd dog, and a number of other cats. To meet cuddly Gromit head on over to Deer Park Vet Clinic!
	GRACIE Female ~3 years old Green eyed Gracie is a people pleaser! She loves people! This little silver tabby was a stray and rescued by compassionate people who took her to Whisker. As soon as her rescuers went outside, Gracie runs towards them to say hello and to get a snuggle in. During Gracie's time on the streets she has learned not to share her resources with other cats, so she would do best as your only feline friend (without dogs or young children). 	DARCY Female ~12 weeks old Delightful Darcy came to Whisker Rescue with her brother Maxwell, and Mama, Mae Mae. Now little Darcy is looking for a comfortable perch to curl up and nap between play times. 	MAE-MAE Female ~2 years old Mae Mae is an inspiring lady who has survived harsh winters that stole the tips of her ears and managed to find some humans to help her and her son, Maxwell. Both mother and son have earned a warm, loving home and look forward to sharing their pawsitive attitudes. Both of these charmers can be met at the Red Deer Petsmart.
	LOLA Female ~2-3 years old Like the fictional character, this Lola strikes you as being terribly cute. She was found wandering the streets looking for love and has since proven she is a great companion. Lovely Lola has learned from her time on the streets that some cats are not friendly, so would need a gradual introduction to any felines in her new forever home. To meet Lola, drop into the Red Deer Petsmart.
	CHICA Female ~1 year old Although she's currently taking care of her kittens, she'll be looking for a forever home in October. She's an excellent mother to her five tabby kittens & continues to be friendly to both big and small humans too! This sweety won't last long! 	BOMBAY Female ~1.5 years old With an exotic name like Bombay you might think this gal was flighty. On the contrary! Bombay is very patient, loving and quiet. Her tranquil presence enables her to get along well with other cats and most humans. Bombay awaits her forever home at the Calgary Trail Petsmart in Edmonton.
	BELLE Female ~1 year old What else would you name a calico Manx tabby but Belle? Of course, her lovely purrsonality also matches her beautiful coat. Belle is an outgoing gal who enjoys giving head-bunt greetings and loves to be as close as possible (to maximize petting possibilities). Belle is both human and feline friendly. Swing on by the Calgary Trail Petsmart in Edmonton to be dazzled by Belle.
	AUTUMN Female ~1.5 years old Now that fall is approaching it is the perfect time to add some dark tortoiseshell Autumn colours to your home! Autumn has a huge heart that raised not only her 5 kittens, but also fostered 2 more. She will also draw your attention to the changing leaf colours as she loves sprinting up and down trees (under supervision in an enclosed back yard). This playful lady is gentle, quiet and considers most other cats as friends. Try to resist falling in love with Autumn at the Calgary Trail Petsmart in Edmonton!
	CHARMING & PRISCILLA Female & Male ~unknown These pretty Persian siblings have been together since birth. Since they are strongly bonded with one another we would like them to go to the same home. (Whisker Rescue does offer discounts for bonded pairs.) They were surrendered when their elderly owners moved and were unable to take them. Charming is much bigger than petite Priscilla, but that is simply her nature as her health check came out normal. Both had their dental check up and teeth extracted last year and are now in fine shape for their new home. We're uncertain how old they are, but they're likely seniors and are thus part of the Seniors for Seniors program or can be adopted at a discount. 	CHIMNEY Female ~1 year old Chimney and Charcoal both have beautiful tabby stripes that appear in the sunshine. Chimney is Charcoals mom and she has passed along her very good temperament to her son. 	HUDSON Male ~2 years old Handsome Hudson clearly has Siamese in his back ground from his gorgeous colours. This playful fellow was found looking for love on the streets. While wandering, Hudson learned to be defensive around other cats, so he needs to be the only feline. To meet Hudson drop by Red Deer Petsmart.
	OLIVE Female ~9 years old Olive has a dense, ticked tabby coat that she enjoys having stroked. Her original owner developed allergies so Olive had to relocate. Olive would purrfer being the only cat in her new home, although she does tolerate canine companions and may do well with other cats if introduced gradually. Olive's purrfect home one with a regular routine - including lots of petting and love. As Olive is a senior lady, she is eligible for the Seniors for Seniors program or can be adopted for only $65.
	PERSEPHONIE Female ~2 years old Purring Persephonie won over friends when she found herself at Animal Control. She purrfers people over feline friends, but can eventually be convinced that cats or okay too. If you would like to add a pretty dilute calico to your home, Persephonie is available at the Red Deer Petsmart.
	FLUFFY Male ~1 year old As his name suggests, Fluffy is a fluffy fellow with unique white markings on his tabby coat. Tabby has a stunning silver marbled tabby coat. When she is in the mood, Tabby enjoys a good petting session with her foster Mom. If startled, Tabby freezes and may give a hiss vocalization, but she will not use her paws or teeth. Glimpses of Tabby's true sweetheart purrsonality are growing more frequent every day!
	ASHTYN Male ~3 years old Ashtyn likely has Maine Coon in his family history given his polydactyle paws (extra fingers and toes), broad nose, fur tipped ears and medium length fur. These hardy characteristics enabled him to survived as a scared stray. For months some kind hearted humans provided him with shelter and food, but he was too frightened to let people near him. Finally, Ashtyn was trapped, neutered, vaccinated and placed in a foster home. It's taken two months for Ashtyn to completely reverse his opinion of humans and now he does not leave people alone! So far Ashtyn's personality is described as being very gentle, nearly silent, and purrfers being petted over food. As Ashtyn tested positive for Feline Leukemia virus he is part of Whisker's Positive Pals Program: no adoption fee, should be housed only with other Positive Pals, their health must be diligently monitored and Whisker will assist with future vet bills.
	CONGO Male ~4 months old This pair of adorable brothers can sometimes play a little wild, so they are appropriately named Sudan and Congo. Congo is a little darker with a cinnamon nose and only a bit of white on his muzzle. Both boys are sweet, friendly, full of love and would enjoy bringing a bit of the wild side to your home.
	SUDAN Male ~1 year old This pair of adorable brothers can sometimes play a little wild, so they are appropriately named Sudan and Congo. Sudan has longer fur in his ears and a white blaze covering his pink nose. Both boys are sweet, friendly, full of love and would enjoy bringing a bit of the wild side to your home.
	DAKOTA Female ~1-2 years old A dark tortishell with golden eyes, this beautiful lady, tried to find a home on her own. Her search took her to Animal Control where her friendly, feline loving, playful catitude won her more friends at Whisker Rescue. Now with more friends looking out for her, Dakota is hoping someone will fall in love with her charming ways. Are you the loving home she has been searching for?
	MIDNIGHT Male ~2 years old With his medium dark coat and golden eyes, he's reminiscent of the Chantilly or Tiffany breed. Like that breed, Midnight loves to talk and enjoys both feline and human companionship. Are you available for head rubbing, chin scratching, and petting? Midnight is waiting for you!
	RAISIN Male ~3 months old Although Raisin has had a rough beginning, he needs no one's sympathy! Raisin had his left front leg amputated when he was ~3 weeks old due to pressure necrosis, but this does not stop him from being an energetic, limber, running and jumping kitten. This spunky fellow is known to climb to the top of the cat tree, jump onto the couch (like any good male), and loves to wrestle with his older feline foster brother (who is teaching Raisin not to nip). However, Raisin does need the extra grip of his claws to pull himself up, so he cannot be declawed or outside without supervision. Even big dogs don't daunt Raisin. The Doberman in Raisin's foster home is wrapped around this kitten's paw. This is one tough little Raisin who is so very sweet he has been dearly loved by all. Please give this wonderful little purrsonality a forever home.
	TWINKY Male ~12 years old Every day is a good day for Twinky! His early years were spent living outdoors, however, when he was brought into Whisker's care we discovered his two medical conditions. Twinky has a heart arrhythmia (his heart sometimes skips a beat) and diabetes. As a heart stopper and a diabetic, Twinky's medication will be supplied by Whisker Rescue for however long he is with us. Whisker Rescue is seeking a loving home for Twinky, either with a senior human, as part of our Seniors for Seniors program, or adopted into a younger human home. For both kinds of home, there is no adoption fee for Twinky.
	SUKI PENDING Male ~1 year old Such tropical ocean blue eyes! Suki The Clown gets his nickname not only from his unique outfit, but also from his entertaining behaviour. This Clown enjoys entertaining both humans & other cats. He's a very gentle & relaxed fellow, who likes to play an escape artist & climbs fences at every chance he gets. Given this habit, Suki would do best in an indoor only home. Suki came to Whisker Rescue after being found as a stray in a trailer park. Suki needs a home with regular routine, as he has a medical condition called hemolitic anemia that is now under control but could resurface if this laid back fellow became stressed. In the unlikely event Suki requires medication in the future, Whisker Rescue would cover the cost. Needing some evening entertaining? This gentle clown could be yours! 	SWEETIE Female ~1 year old Snuggly Sweetie is a gorgeous calico tabby who is looking forward to having an empty nest. This purrfect doting young mother is protective of her babies. To protect her kittens, Sweetie does charge other cats, but we suspect she will get along with felines once she is spayed. Once her young no longer need her (at the end of July, beginning of August the kittens will be looking for their own homes), Sweetie will turn her attention to finding a forever home too. 	LADY CHLOE Female ~5 years old Lady Chloe is a very pretty dilute tortishell, who, like most calicos, thinks she is all the cat you will need in your home. In other words, she purrfers to be your one & only feline friend. Chloe watches her manners & does not make a pest of herself on humans. However, given the right human to fall in love with, she will likely be a cuddle bug! With her lady-like manner, Chloe needs to have her space respected (by both dogs & kids), so would likely do best in an adult only home. 	MAGGIE Female ~2 years old Maggie the Magnificent! This incredible Siamese cross lady is partially blind but can see out of one corner of her eyes. She uses that little bit of sight to it's fullest! Maggie enjoys chasing flies & climbing all over people - even if you are sleeping. Maggie has a strong spirit that helped her survive delivering a still-born litter (due to an Upper Respiratory infection). Her new home would need to understand that Maggie has a big loving heart & lots of determination to be loved, which may lead her to being underfoot. Do you have lots of love to share & an ability to sometimes be Maggies eyes? We would love to hear from you!
	SCOUNDREL Female ~5 months old Who doesn't love a Scoundrel? This little girl had been adopted but returned for inappropriate urination. We discovered Scoundrel was trying to tell us she was in pain due to a urinary tract infection, and since being treated she's not missed the litter box! To prevent future urinary issues, Scoundrel needs to be on a good pH balanced diet. This young playful gal would love to come over to enliven your place!
	VADAR Male ~8-10 years old This dashing, tux wearing Vader was originally adopted as a young abandoned cat. Sadly, the young human in Vadar's household recently developed a severe allergy to her purring pal, leaving Vadar once again searching for a warm residence. Vadar is described as being excellent with people, a wonderful friend, loving, cuddly & mature. He's also housetrained with all his shots. 	DUMPSTER KITTENS & a lot more kittens Male & Female ~weeks -months old Whisker Rescue is currently caring for several litters of fluffy, purring, playful kittens. Kittens in our care include four kittens placed in a garbage bag & left in a dumpster, kittens surrendered to animal control, & stray kittens or mama's with kittens. All kittens will be spayed or neutered, vet checked and vaccinated prior to moving on to their forever home. Kittens are becoming available for adoption weekly. 	RHODIE Male ~5 years old It is hard to get a picture of Rhodie because he simply loves to head butt everyone and everything while looking for rubs and loving. Surprisingly, this affectionate fellow had been adopted several years ago, but he had recently been found running loose and his previous owner did not come to claim him. Rhodie's large frame hides a huge heart. Not every cat is a fan of Rhodie's forward cattitude, so he would need to be gradually introduced to other feline friends. Fortunately, his extroverted purrsonality enables him to charm whomever he meets, and will hopefully win him a furever home soon!
	VIPER Male ~9 years old Unlike fast roller coasters & cars, this Viper is actually a mellow fellow who enjoys long afternoon naps in the sunshine. He was a stray found years ago & now finds himself looking for a forever home. As Viper is declawed and has had some liver problems, he now needs an indoor home to keep an eye on his health. He would do best as an only cat as he purrfers not competing for sunbeams with other felines. Being a senior gentleman, Viper qualifies for Whisker's Seniors for Seniors program, an adoption fee of only $65.
	CAPTAIN Male ~5 years old This gentle fellow could have been named for a detective Captain, as he likes to investigate things on his own time. In other words, Captain does not use his large size to be pushy. As a young adult Captain has the advantage of having out grown his high energy kitten stage, and would love to spend some mellow time hanging out with you at your place!
	FROSTY Male ~3 years old Frosty nearly became a snowman after being caught in a snow storm & suffering some frost bite. Fortunately for him, he found his way to Whisker Rescue and is now in a warm kennel with a reliable food supply. Young Frosty is now hoping his warm heart and sweet temperament will win him a furever home. Come see if Frosty melts your heart!
	ZSA-ZSA Female ~1.5 years old Like most calicos, Zsa Zsa feels she is feline enough for one household and purrfers being your one and only. This pretty princess has a playful, interactive purrsonality and loves playing with dangly toys. Zsa Zsa is currently holding court at the South Edmonton PETSMART on Calgary Trail and looks forward to your audience!
	INDY Male ~6 years old An adorable, incredible fellow, Indy loves being around people - including small people! Unfortunately, the small person in Indy's current family has become allergic to him. Thus through no fault of his own Indy is looking for more people to love and share a home. Indy is used to being an only critter but would likely quickly adjust to life with other animals if given time to get use to sharing. Being a declawed, Indy would do best with only supervised outside privileges.
	TAFFY Female ~ Taffy needs to be on a special diet due to her allergies.
	TWINKLE Female ~1 year old Twinkle, Twinkle little star, how I wonder what you are? Well no need to wonder with this little girl! Twinkle is feisty, sweet and friendly. She is also a sensitive gal, at least sensitive to vaccinations, as she had a minor reaction when Whisker Rescue gave her an antibiotic injection. Add some Twinkle to your life today by taking home this adorable gal!
	LEWIS Male ~2 years old Named after the boxer Lewis Lennox, this Lewis is also a retired boxer (from his early life on the streets) but is now Lewis the Lover! He loves firm rubs, ribbons & cuddles. Being used to maintaining a territory, Lewis will need a gradual introduction to his new kingdom; (please ask us for more information on gradual introductions). Currently residing at the All in One Pet Care Facility in Red Deer, Lewis is comfortable sharing his life with other cats and dogs and is looking forward to meeting you!
	GABBY Female ~5 months old This young cinnamon coloured tabby, appropriately has a fiery streak! She enjoys her role as a fuzzy leg warmer, but sometimes finds this activity a bit too stimulating & then acts like she needs to gnaw on something. Like most teenagers, Gabby is learning the boundaries of social etiquette & if she is determined to rebel, she will be placed in the Barn Buddies program.
	MISTLETOE Female ~9 years old Found on a doorstep, she was nearly lifeless with hypothermia, swollen eyes & paws. But tiny Mistletoe was nursed back from the brink of death. Fortunately what could have been her final act instead found her a rescuer that quickly got Mistletoe to the emergency vet clinic! We are not sure how old Mistletoe is exactly, so she is a candidate for the Seniors for Seniors program or could be adopted out for $65. As a dilute calico tabby her presence is certainly eye-catching! Add another reason to share kisses in your household by adopting Mistletoe today!
	KIMI Female ~4 years old Kimi was unable to follow her previous owner to a new location, so was surrendered to Whisker in hopes of finding a forever home. Kimi would likely do well as a companion for most cats or would also be happy to be your only cat companion!
	LUCKY Male ~3-4 years old For a while Lucky had a home, however, his family was unable to take him when they moved. Being an extremely friendly & optimistic fellow, Lucky lives up to his name & is seeking a second loving home (best with older kids or an adult-only home) where he can continue to munch on Hills C/D diet (to keep his urinary tract healthy). You too can be lucky when you add this purring, love bug to your household!
	CREAMSICLE Male ~8 months old This silky smooth orange tabby is pretty shy, & thus is part of our Barn Buddies Program! He's loves other cats & needs a home that will give him a little time to adjust to being part of a family again!
	JASPER Male ~2 years old He's a rescued stray that needs love and patience. He is quiet & a bit shy but his tender heart (and gorgeous whiskers) will win you over!
	PAISLEY Female ~4 years old She's a spunky kitty with mesmerizing emerald green eyes! She enjoys rolling around on tiled floors & being a cat model. Due to her food allergies, Paisley needs a diet of Hills D/D cat food (and a bag will be included with her adoption fee). She was originally found as a stray & likely this rough life taught her not to get along with other cats or dogs. Paisley is looking for an indoor/outdoor home where she can rule her own kingdom because she has yet to be convinced she's declawed!
